Describe Yourself:
Taking part in the community in which he lives, Henderson, Nevada resident Aaron DelSignore, who is a Vice President-Investments with UBS strives to better his life and the lives of others by promoting a healthy, balanced lifestyle. Aaron DelSignore is a former amateur boxer who trained hard under an established regimen, and this physical conditioning was merely one part of his recipe for success. Aaron also took time to build up his mind, reading the works of John Steinbeck, F. Scott Fitzgerald, G. K. Chesterton, John A Crow, and C. S. Lewis. Many of these writers stressed the importance a person’s character plays in his development, and Aaron DelSignore relays this message to local at-risk youth through a program of speeches and lectures.
Aaron DelSignore regularly appears before groups of young people to speak to them about life choices. Mr. Aaron DelSignore knows something about the impact decisions have on a life’s trajectory, as he was formerly an at-risk youth. Aaron DelSignore stresses positive lifestyles to these children, and he highlights how dangerous drug use can be. "In looking back over my life, one main reasons that I never ended up in prison like many of my childhood friends, is that I NEVER even tried drugs. Once you get started on that path, you can develope habits, and once you develope habits like drugs, it is a curse for LIFE. Look at some of the Hollywood stars, no matter how much fame or money they achieve...addiction ends up destroying them." When he is talking with youths about choices in their lives, Aaron DelSignore also mentions the importance of clarity and taking advantage of second chances when they arise.
In his free time, Aaron DelSignore studies Portuguese and travels. Aaron DelSignore is an avid reader and counts The Epic of Latin America, Cannery Row, and The Wealth of Nations among his favorite novels. Mr. DelSignore is active in many local charities and social clubs, including Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada, Food for the Poor, International Social Ministry of St. Thomas More, and Don't Trash Nevada.
